NDIS community and social supports across Adelaide. We help you get to the places you need to go and the places you want to go

Where do you want to go?

Community access support means a support worker goes with you. Not to watch you. To help you get there, be there, and get home safely. Whether it’s something you do every week or something you haven’t done in months, we make it happen. This includes:

  • Shopping trips and grocery runs.
  • Medical appointments, physio, the chemist, Centrelink.
  • Social visits with friends or family.
  • Cafes, restaurants, the movies.
  • The beach, the park, a walk around the neighbourhood. Community events, markets, local sports.
  • Religious and cultural activities.
  • Library visits, classes, gym sessions.
  • If it’s somewhere you want to be, we’ll get you there.

If it’s somewhere you want to be, we’ll get you there.

Simple from the first call

You call us or fill in the form below. We have a 15 minute chat about where you want to go and what support you need. We match you with a support worker and set up a free meet and greet before any shift starts. You pick the worker that fits. Once you’re comfortable, we lock in a regular schedule or book outings as you need them.We handle the coordination with your support coordinator or plan manager so your funding is used correctly and nothing gets missed.

How it's funded under your NDIS plan

Community access support is funded under Core Supports (Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation) in your NDIS plan. If you’re self managed, plan managed, or NDIA managed, we can provide this support. If you’re not sure whether your plan covers it, we’ll check for you on the first call. No cost, no obligation.

Small provider. Big difference.

Authentic Care is a locally owned, registered NDIS provider based in Adelaide. We cover the northern suburbs, southern suburbs, and Adelaide metro. You pick your support worker before they start. Every new participant gets a free meet and greet. If the match isn’t right, we swap. No questions. We answer our phone. Our on call line is staffed 24 hours, every night of the year. No automated menu, no call centre, no voicemail. We keep your coordinator in the loop. Weekly updates by email so everyone knows what’s happening with your supports.

Is this for you or someone you care about?

If you’re an NDIS participant who wants to get out more but needs support to do it, this is for you. If you’re a parent, carer, or family member worried that someone you love is spending too much time at home, this is for you too. You can enquire on their behalf and we’ll take it from there. If you’re a support coordinator looking for a reliable community access provider in Adelaide, we’d like to hear from you. We have a dedicated coordinator line and an onboarding pack ready to send.
