Include the following with your referral:
- Participant name and contact details.
- NDIS number and plan dates.
- Plan management type (self managed, plan managed, or NDIA managed).
- Services requested and approximate hours.
- Any relevant risk or behavioural information.
- Your preferred contact method for updates.
We confirm receipt within one business day.
What happens after you refer
We contact the participant or their family within 24 hours of receiving the referral.
A free meet and greet is arranged within 7 days. The participant meets the proposed support worker, we go through their goals and routine, and confirm the match is right. If it’s not, we arrange a different worker.
First shift starts within 14 days of the referral in most cases. We send you a confirmation with the worker’s name, shift schedule, and our contact details.
How we keep you informed
Weekly participant updates by email covering what happened, what’s coming up, and anything that needs your attention.
Shift changes or cancellations are communicated to you and the participant before the original shift time.
Calls and emails are returned within one business day.
